Modular Paper Structure Blocks
Paper House is designed for paper-making artists, offering them the freedom to move and create within its courtyard embrace. Crafted with modular paper tubes reminiscent of cinder blocks introduces a paradigm shift in sustainability and paper structure.
This dynamic fusion not only imparts structural integrity that defies expectations but transforms paper into a robust architectural element. The primary structure, supported by stacked paper cinder blocks, challenges traditional norms while highlighting the delicate balance between strength and fragility.
The porous nature of paper introduces an acoustic dimension, particularly beneficial for rooms housing paper beating machines.
The three-story layout, centered around a lush garden, allows artists to effortlessly transition between wet and dry workspaces, surrounded by nature that offers both seclusion and transparency to communal areas. A pitched roof adds a playful touch with balconies and skylights, creating visual connections while delineating public and private spaces.
Living under one roof symbolizes a tight-knit community, fostering collaboration. Paper House is designed to nurture both work and life balance, seamlessly integrating communal living with individual creativity.
