Museum Exhibition Gallery Design

This proposal is to create a designated gallery in the MFA Boston designed to allow visitors to experience the MFA’s permanent collection in a space that eliminates the temporal and spatialhierarchy  present in their existing museum curation. This will enable visitors to engage with the work in a more thought-provoking way, providing them with opportunities to explore a wide range of pieces without the sense of an overarching hierarchy creating biases towards specific cultures. Where
multiple worldviews converge, new ways of seeing, thinking, and understanding emerge.
